Course Update:
As of December 2011 The Christchurch Ropes Course will be permanently closed at its current South Brighton Location. This is due to land subsidence issues caused by
the Feb / June Earthquakes, which have begun to affect the health of some trees in the park. The Christchurch City Council is closing all forested areas of the park to allow them to monitor these trees.
The Kahikatea Adventure Education Trust who own The Christchurch Ropes Course will be working with the council to find an appropriate piece of land to re-establish
the course, and are also looking at this as an opportunity to add more to what they do; investigate new options, and come up with something special for all of their users.
